The Fusebox Festival is an annual contemporary art and performance festival that takes place in Austin, TX each April. This year’s dates are April 20 – May 1.

Bringing artists together to create art projects across multiple mediums, the festival’s mission is to act “as a catalyst for new ideas, new artistic models, and approaches to help us engage with the issues and questions that define contemporary life.”

We’re really interested in checking out a new musical: ”I’ve Never Been so Happy” which is presented by Rude Mechs, an East Austin based theatre troop whose mission is to “represent a genre-defying cocktail of big ideas, cheap laughs, and dizzying spectacle.”

This aint your normal musical folks.

“I’ve Never Been so Happy” is playing at The Off Center until May 8th.
